From 5 lbs of Clay to a Ceramics Studio…
In 2019, Mike Simister made his fist sale, 5 lbs of clay sold through Amazon. He reinvested that money in new product and continued to sell through Amazon and Ebay.
Over time his side project became a tangible business leading him and his wife, April, to quit their jobs in 2020. Their business exploded overnight, soon they had enough to expand into what is now Artistic Industries and buy their store front in Provo, Utah.
They quickly outgrew their space and bought the neighboring studio space that has now been made into Utah Center for the Ceramic Arts.
We offer a wide variety of ceramic supplies and tools. From the basics of clay and glaze to wheels and kiln services, we have what you need for your studio.
Conveniently located next door, stop by on your next studio visit or shop our online store
